What Opting Into Your Life While Living with Chronic Illness Means with Brianna Greenspan

Our guest Brianna Greenspan, co-author of multiple books including one with the Miracle Morning series shares her story of removing the mask and choosing to entirely opt in and show herself. From birth, Brianna experienced the challenges of living in a world where nobody could tell her what was going on. She shares what being “different” translates into while growing up with chronic illness and the life-saving lessons she learned along the way. One of those lessons was uncovered while unpacking trauma and learning how to love herself.

She shares what being “different”  translates into while growing up with chronic illness and the life-saving lessons she learned along the way. One of those lessons was uncovered while unpacking trauma and learning how to love herself.

When Brianna shares the self-love piece in this journey, it touches home. I know for myself there was a time when I looked at my chronic illnesses as this thing that got in the way of all the things I wanted in life. I was honestly ashamed of how much I felt it took away from the life I wanted. However, I knew that this would be temporary, although those feelings were always the lens through which I saw my world. And I am thankful for my prayers being answered by a person stepping in and speaking life into hope for things now. It changed so much for me, and a year or so later, I looked back with lots of gratitude and wanted to pay it forward.

With experience as a patient and working in the healthcare industry of research, she has a unique perspective and set of tools that help her thrive.  Brianna shares the experience of the first 20 years of her life of dealing with the label “different”. In addition, she shares her journey of unpacking trauma and learning how to love herself.

Brianna Greenspan was born with a chronic illness that went undiagnosed until her 20's. Defying the logic of doctors and the temptation to be a victim, Brianna has dedicated her life to healing herself while empowering others to take ownership over their own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Brianna's health journey sparked her thirst for knowledge in neuroscience, mindfulness, permaculture, appreciative inquiry facilitation, ancient healing methods and habit stacking to increase vibrational frequencies. She is also the co-author of multiple books including one with the Miracle Morning series. Her life's work is centered around using her superpower as a connector to facilitate all the good she can in collaborative settings to uplift global wellbeing mainly focused in medical genetics and education.
