If you are reading this you have probably ventured into the world of social media marketing in your real estate business. Or you may have heard all the hype about that one in particular Facebook Ads being the New and upcoming way to increase your buyer and sellers leads. Either way I’m here and this what you need to know.
What’s the big deal with social media? Well whether you are a new or old school generation of real estate things are changing! It’s a world where statics show that not only do the majority of buyers start their search online over a whopping 90% but sellers from the age 51 and younger are starting their real estate research online. Those figures are just focused on the internet in general. Social Media has become the wave of communication and community. First time buyers are the majority ranging from the age of 36 and younger at 66% are the age group buying the most today… In 2016 over 75% of the population is using social media in general. The beginning of the Internet was just the start. It’s no wonder why social media marketing is increasing. When it comes to social media the bandwagon is here and if you are not on it you should be. If you are ignoring social media you are excluding All of your potential leads.
There is a debate however in whether the traditional ways of marketing your real estate business are completely out of date and that technology is the only way to go. In my personal opinion there is no competition it is a marriage of the two worlds. Like agents and free food, one usually does not exclude the other.
